Eid-Ul-Adha Ecard Poetry

  • The moon is bright, the breeze is calm,
    A softness sweet pervades the air;
    And joyous chirps and sweetest songs
    Do usher in our Eid this year.
    In every home – or meek or grand –
    A sacred happiness is felt;
    And everyone through this grand day
    Is merry, equal and content.
    The Holy Fast is over now,
    And everyone is satisfied;
    To know that through this sacred month
    By lofty teachings he did abide.
    And so to Eid-ul-Fitr prayers
    The king, the beggar – old and young,
    All wend their way with easy steps,
    A glorious praise is to be sung.
    And lo! In scented atmosphere
    With turbans bright and crescents gay,
    In spirit of fraternity,
    The faithful join their hands to pray.
    “Allaahu Akbar” one and all
    In unison give thanks and pay
    Their gratitude for being so blessed
    To see this Eid-ul-Fitr day.
    The poor, the beggar and infirm
    Do share of Islam’s bounties all,
    For in this universal creed
    We are all brothers – great or small.
    And after prayers and many thanks,
    And charity and all deeds good;
    A moment of reflection show
    The beauties of our brotherhood.
    Oh Allaah! How can mortals say
    With equal force with which they feel,
    The depth of gratitude they owe
    To you and the “All Prophet’s Seal.”
    Do guide us in the path that’s straight,
    By no means let us go astray;
    And finally bless us to see
    Another Eid-ul-Adha day.

  • New Moon! New Moon!
    Happy Eid! Happy Eid!
    People scurrying,
    In preparation of Eid.
    Some buying clothing,
    Some pistachio and almonds.
    But my thoughts are,
    Only for my beloved.
    And my mentor Mian Mohammad’s words,
    Are embedded upon my mind.
    My beloved I leave you in god’s care,
    Life is carnival of four days.
    We will celebrate Eid,
    The day that we’ll meet again.
    My beloved in your letter
    Will be this expatriates moon.

  • Like the colour of silver,
    in the night sky,
    the new moon rises,
    the holy month has past,
    the fasting is over,
    tomorrow is the great feast of Eid-ul-Adha.
    We will eat spicy chicken,
    and mouthwatering pakoras,
    I’ll call my neighbours,
    and friends on the street,
    may the peace of Allah,
    and joy of Eid,
    be with everyone.

  • Eid is a celebration for muslims to celebrate
    Eid is time to say Eid morak and pray
    Some muslims give money to their children and say Eid mobarak.
    Some muslims go to their friend and neigbours.
    Some people give money to other children,
    they don’t just give money to their own children,
    they give money to their friend’s children or to their neigbours children.
    They can also give money to adults.
    Eid mobarak, Eid mobarak to you all my bothers and sisters.

  • Now that we fasted and did extra good deeds,
    We celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr, one of the two Eids!
    Allah prescribed two Eids and forbid all other festivals,
    He told us to worship Him and try to get the medals!
    Ramadan is a special training for a Muslim,
    Practice Islam even when its light appears to be dim.
    Continue doing good deeds, just as in Ramadan
    And give Sadaqa-e-Fitr, for every child, woman and man
    We go to the Eid-gah and say the Takbir,
    On Eid day, our best clothes we do wear!We listen to the Eid khutbah,
    And don’t leave until we pray the Eid salah!
    We go to the Eid prayer in any type of weather,
    And give presents to each other!
    We say Eid Mubarak,
    And wish each other good luck!
    We celebrate festival of Eid
    By thanking Allah for granting us our needs!
    If you have an Eid poem, please e-mail it to me!

  • Eid Mubbarrak! Eid Mubarrak!
    O’ Muslims o’er the land:
    Eid Mubarrack! Eid Mubarrack!
    Extend a helping hand.
    Eid Mubarrack! Eid Mubarrack!
    On this beloved occasion;
    Eid Mubarrack! Eid Mubarrack!
    Enriched with salutations.
    This is indeed a day of prayer,
    And joyful celebration
    A day we always should endear,
    With heartfelt dediication.
    This is indeed of Allaah’s Will
    In Whom we place our trust;
    A God Who’s active, yet is still,
    And Who forbids sheer lust.
    Eid brings an end of one month’s fasting,
    With practised self-restraint;
    With benefits both rich and lasting
    To sinner or to saint.
    So blessed Eid to one and all,
    To white, red, brown or black:
    While paying heed to Alllaah’s Call
    Let’s all say:
    EID MUBARRACK
